I haven’ t written anything interesting in days. I haven’t blogged.
I promised myself I would keep a tight schedule – more or less – and make this website a priority.
I did not expect to have to pass a test to get a job.
But, that is what I’m doing now, what I have been doing for almost two weeks. Studying for a test, just to get a part-time job rating content on the internet. After I got my degree, I put away all things academic – essays, responses, presentations, group assignments, and tests.
I hate the tension-filled days and hours leading up to a test. But, I am good at taking them. I have always gotten better test scores than I expected, and often better ones than I should have. So, I have a decent chance of passing this one.
But, that’s not the only thing.
I have somehow, somewhere, gotten the reading bug. Or, I should say, I’ve gotten it back. I have been reading like a school kid, like I did when I was young, up until I started high school. And, I don’t know when it happened, but it’s back and I am excited about it. For the first time, in a long time, I got angry when someone called me away from my reading.
