Well, that didn’t work out the way I planned. I had hoped to slow down a bit, break away from my three-posts-a-week schedule, and send a little more time on more socially-oriented posts, and do a couple of posts a week, certainly no less than once a week.
That hasn’t worked. At All. I checked this blog two days ago, the time of my last post, and discovered that I hadn’t posted in nine days. Nine days! That’s the longest I have gone without posting since I started this blog. The longest gap before that was three, maybe four days.
So, I am at a crossroads, of sorts. I want to continue in the direction I am going but I have to post more often than I have been. If I’m not holding myself to a three-times-a-week standard, my productivity just falls off. My blog could disappear or just become irrelevant…to me.
I started this because I want to say something, do something, leave a little something for someone else, write something that helps someone the way countless bloggers have helped me over the years with everything from health information to step-by-step details on how to troubleshoot my computer.
And, my main goal was to start a blog and maintain it, for years.
So, it’s back to the writing board, back to the blank screen, back to the original design: to write my way from where I am to where I want to be.
To any blogger who reads this:
One of the best ways to leave a mark in the world is to help someone.
Keep Writing.
